The crankcase – which covers the crankshaft of the engine – is made from solid aluminum, and Mitox has supported it with top-notch ball bearings. This combination adds to the durability of the engine.
You will find another interesting built-in function, called smart flow particle separation. Sawdust from the air is removed before it has a chance to get into the air filter. Just like all other Mitox chainsaws, this heavy-duty tool also comes with an anti-vibration system, enabling you to operate the chainsaw for a prolonged period of time.
This chainsaw is ideal for large trees and thick branches. For a heavy-duty tool, it’s extremely light at 14-pounds. Just for comparison’s sake, the Husqvarna 966048324 – which is also a large chainsaw with very similar features – weighs about 21 pounds.
The rubber fuel line is, however, a weak spot worth mentioning. If you see signs of wear and tear, replace it at once, especially because, in some cases, rubber debris can clog up the carburetor.
